Musically speaking the music of the 70's and 80's was dominated by Californian bands The Eagles and Creedence Clearwater. Creedence Clearwater includes rock'n'roll 'Hall of Fame' rhythm section Stu Cook (bass & vocals) and Doug "Cosmo" Clifford (drums/vocals) one of the most celebrated bass-drum duos of the rock era, with Tal Morris ('killer'guitar), Steve Gunner (keyboards/guitar) and the incredible John Tristao* on lead vocals who maintains the original unique sound and integrity of that unmistakable 'swamp music' quality of Creedence.
*John Fogerty departed the band more than 30 years ago in 1973.
During their halcyon domination of the charts Creedence Clearwater notched up no fewer than sixteen Top 40 hit singles including classics "Heard It Through The Grapevine", "Proud Mary", "Travellin' Band", "Bad Moon Rising", "Green River", "Lookin' Out My Back Door", "Down On The Corner", "Up Around The Bend", "Sweet Hitchhiker", and "Have You Ever Seen The Rain" amongst them.
