It’s official - legendary entertainer George Michael will perform at Etihad Stadium on Wednesday, March 3.

It will be the first time since 1988 that George Michael has performed live in Australia. His Melbourne concert will be one of three Australian shows.

Tickets will go on sale for George Michael’s Etihad Stadium performance on Wednesday, December 16.

George Michael has enjoyed one of the most successful and enduring careers in the history of pop music, selling more than 100 million records globally and encompassing six US number one singles.

His record Faith has sold more than 20 million copies alone.

In addition he has collected 11 British number 1 singles and eight British number 1 albums. George Michael was recently declared the most played British artist on radio and television over the course of the past 20 years.
